Private Mold Protection
Private mold projects are protected by three layers, all written into the same contract:
- Non-disclosure agreement (NDA): Signed before cooperation begins, covering drawings, CAD files, acoustic parameters and firmware.
- Tooling ownership and exclusivity clauses: Tooling ownership is stated explicitly, and the mold may not be used for any other customer.
- Exclusive protection of customer audio assets: Audio files supplied by the customer are used exclusively for that project.
- Patents held: 40 patents — 39 design patents plus one invention patent, "Audio Processing Apparatus and Method" (ZL2015 1 1027770.6), covering core audio processing technology.
- Independently verifiable: Design patents are publicly searchable — for example the HFD-R7 is ZL2022 3 0310386.1. A contract can be signed by anyone, but only a granted patent can be checked by a third party.
